Theory Teaching

Theory is fun! I bring this potentially dry subject to life by getting off the page as much as possible and having the students play everything they study and create on the piano. My lessons take place at the keyboard. I believe aural awareness is a crucial part of the study of theory and I work hard to develop this with ear-training, sight-singing, dictation and duet-singing.
